GB Group said it was helped by strong growth in its international business, which increased to more than 31% of its total revenue.

The company said it had a growing global footprint and a strengthening international brand with clients including Citibank, DBS (Development Bank of Singapore) and BNP Paribas.

Last month, GB Group said it agreed to acquire address validation firm PCA Predict for a total of £73.85 million.

GB Group chief executive Chris Clark said: “We have made a positive start to the year, with trading in line with management expectations.
