Moneysupermarket CFO Grimble moves to Deliveroo

Chester-based price comparison website Moneysupermarket.com Group’s chief financial officer (CFO) Scilla Grimble is to leave the firm to become CFO at Deliveroo.

Deliveroo said Grimble is expected to commence her appointment by no later than June 2023.

A search for Scilla’s successor is underway and a further announcement on succession will be made in due course,” said Moneysupermarket.

“Scilla will remain as CFO to help deliver on the execution of our strategy and support a smooth transition into 2023.

The board would like to thank Scilla for her commitment and contribution over the four years she will have been with the group.”

Moneysupermarket CEO Peter Duffy said: “Scilla has made a significant contribution to the group since 2019 and has been a valuable colleague to me since I became CEO in 2020.

“I am grateful for all she has done and wish her well in her new role.”

Grimble was previously interim chief financial officer at Marks & Spencer where she was also Director, Group Finance, and she held a range of senior finance and leadership roles at Tesco.

Before that, Grimble spent 10 years at UBS where she was Managing Director and Head, Consumer & Retail Investment Banking EMEA, and she began her career at PwC where she qualified as a chartered accountant.

Grimble’s base salary at Deliveroo will be £500,000. Her service agreement also provides for a discretionary annual bonus of up to a maximum 180% of base salary and a discretionary annual incentive award of up to a maximum of 500% of base salary.

Grimble will also receive Deliveroo awards to compensate her for short and long-term incentive awards she will forfeit on leaving Moneysupermarket.
