Bradford-based Yorkshire Building Society announced on Friday that its chief financial officer Tom Ranger has informed the board of his intention to leave the Society “to pursue another opportunity.”

Ranger joined Yorkshire in 2024 from Santander UK.

Yorkshire Building Society is due to announce its 2025 results in the next few days.

The mutual’s balances increased £4.9 billion in 2024 to £52 billion.

“The process to appoint a successor will now commence,” said Yorkshire.

“Tom will continue to perform his responsibilities as chief financial officer until at least the end of the year.”
