Manchester Airports Group (MAG) said late on Tuesday that chief financial officer Neil Thompson has decided to leave the group.
MAG operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports and is privately managed on behalf of its shareholders — Australian investment fund IFM Investors (35.5%), Manchester City Council (35.5%) and nine other Greater Manchester councils (29%).
“After nine very successful years as chief financial officer, Neil Thompson has taken the decision to leave Manchester Airports Group,” said MAG.
“He will remain with the company until early 2021.
“Interim arrangements will be put in place ahead of Neil leaving and a further update will be given when a successor is appointed.
“Although we are sad to see him leave we wish him the very best for his next role.”
