Jet2.com — owned by Leeds-based leisure and logistics firm Dart Group — has announced a major recruitment drive with roadshows taking place across the UK to fill more than 1,700 jobs for pilots, cabin crew and ground operations staff.

The roadshows are taking place throughout August and September to recruit about 180 pilots, 900 cabin crew and more than 700 ground operations workers.

Jet2.com said it is now the third largest registered airline in the UK.

It said it has a growing fleet of aircraft including 34 new Boeing 737-800NG planes which are being delivered between 2016 and 2019.
