Doncaster-based DFS Furniture said the Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) will allow its acquisition of sofa retailer Sofology Limited to proceed.
“There were no conditions attached to the CMA decision,” said DFS.
“The Financial Conduct Authority has also confirmed its clearance of the acquisition.”
The acquisition will complete on November 30, 2017.

On August 3, DFS said it agreed to buy Golborne-based Sofology and announced an agreement to refinance its existing borrowings.
DFS said on August 3 Sofology was being acquired for an initial enterprise value of £25 million and a “a potential further earn-out payment” and that “the total aggregate consideration payable is capped at £105 million.”
