Chester-based identity data company GB Group (GBG) said on Tuesday its revenue increased 38.7 % to £199.1 million and profit before tax rose 40% to £20.6 million in the year ended March 31, 2020.
GB said it saw good growth from all geographies and its three core products of Location, Identity and Fraud.
International revenues are now 56% of the GB business.
GB said it is not yet possible to understand the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on the business — so its dividend and guidance remain suspended.
GB Group CEO Chris Clark said “I am extremely proud of our performance in the last 12 months, which saw profit and revenues exceed market expectations.
“This was driven by GBG’s international expansion and innovative product offerings.
“Although it is hard to predict the full impact of Covid-19, we remain well-positioned to support our customers through the current environment and in the longer term.”
