Carlisle-based aviation and energy firm Stobart Group confirmed on Friday it is in early stage discussions with a number of parties including Falko Regional Aircraft Limited regarding the potential sale of its stake in Stobart Air and Propius.
In a stock exchange statement, the company said: “Stobart Group, the aviation and energy infrastructure group, notes the article in the Irish Independent today regarding Stobart Air.
“Our AGM statement on 30 July 2020 stated that we had commenced early discussions with potential partners around the long-term future of Stobart Air.
“As part of this process, we can confirm that we are in early stage discussions with a number of parties including Falko Regional Aircraft Limited regarding the potential sale of Stobart Group’s stake in Stobart Air and Propius, and there can be no certainty that any transaction will be forthcoming or whether acceptable terms will be agreed.”
