Yorkshire Building Society has confirmed that Santander UK executive Tom Ranger will join the mutual as chief finance officer (CFO) later this year.
Yorkshire Building Society has assets of £62.2 billion and nearly three million customers. Its subsidiary companies include Accord Mortgages Limited.
“With over 25 years’ experience in financial services, he is currently Group Treasurer at Santander UK plc, a Non-Executive Director of Santander Financial Services plc Board and Senior Officer Santander Financial Services’ Jersey Branch,” said Yorkshire.
Yorkshire Building Society CEO Susan Allen said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Tom later this year.

Ranger succeeds Alasdair Lenman, who recently announced his intention to retire in June after seven years with the Society. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
