AJ Bell hires Julie Chakraverty

Salford-based investment platform AJ Bell announce that Julie Chakraverty has been appointed to its board of directors as an independent non-executive director with effect from June 1, 2024.

Julie, a highly experienced non-executive director, brings more than 30 years of financial services and technology leadership experience to the board,” said AJ Bell.

“She spent most of her early career at UBS where she held multiple global leadership roles.

Julie is also the founder of Rungway Limited, an employee engagement platform that empowers people to seek and share advice at work.

“Julie is currently a non-executive director and chair of the ethics and sustainability committee at Starling Bank and the senior independent director and chair of the cyber security committee at NCC Group plc.

“Julie previously served on the boards of Santander UK plc, Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life Aberdeen plc (now Abrdn plc), Amlin plc (now Mitsui Amlin), and the Spirit Pub Company plc (now Greene King).”
