Kroll, the New York-based financial and risk advisory firm, has named David Riley as managing director in the restructuring practice at its Manchester office.
Riley has more than 30 years of industry experience, assisting clients with restructuring, M&A transactions, debt advisory, financial due diligence and formal insolvency cases.
He is a qualified Insolvency Practitioner and Chartered Accountant and has worked with a diverse range of clients across corporates, financial institutions, PE, asset-based lenders and law firms.
Prior to joining Kroll, Riley was an Advisory Partner at Crowe UK, an audit, tax and risk consulting firm. Before that, he served as a CEO for a distressed PE engineering fund and as a Partner for a £20 million fund in a special situations distressed environment. He has also held positions at Bibby Financial Services, Grant Thornton UK and Ernst & Young.
