Manchester-based investment platform AJ Bell said on Monday its CEO Andy Bell sold 1.77 million shares in AJ Bell at 437.766p per share, which would work out at about £7.7 million.

Chairman Les Platts sold 177,075 shares at the same price, which would work out at about £774,000.

Following the sales, Andy Bell holds 23.578% of the company’s stock and Plats holds 0.103%.

Last December, Andy Bell sold 5.5 million shares in AJ Bell at 420p per share to raise £23.1 million.
